In the month of April of 2013, I was invited to give a presentation by the Panama Green Building Council in the Centro American Country. The Event was sponsored by Lumicentro (a lighting distributor in the region). With over sixty attendees, the event was successful.
The PGBC is only three years old and has over 130 members. They are a remarkable organization and they host over 30 events a year. The headquarters for this organization is in Ciudad del Saber (City of Knowledge).
My presentation was regarding new energy efficient technologies in lighting and how Massachusetts has taken advantage of them in the state programs. In 2012, Massachusetts was still the number one state in the nation (by ACEEC) for to consecutive years, regarding effective programs in energy efficiency.
